This certificate program prepares the student to begin a career in the computer networking field and working and administering a variety of popular network platforms including UNIX, Microsoft.

The Network Specialist certificate is designed to train students to administer and develop networks systems to facilitate solutions to common business and organizational requirements. When a student completes the 5 required classes, CIS 50, CIS 67, CIS 190, CIS 261, CIS 240A, they will have the entry level skills qualifying them to design implement and administer network systems.

Year one Fall: CIS 50, CIS 67
Year one Spring: CIS 190
