The ECC Baccalaureate of Science Degree Program in Respiratory Care is designed to expand preparation and technical expertise of respiratory care practitioners. Program graduates will be trained to serve in leadership and clinical practitioner roles. Students will acquire advanced knowledge and skills in usage of evidence-based medicine in various areas of respiratory care such as personnel management, policy design, and case management of patients in the clinical setting.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS To receive a Baccalaureate of Science in Respiratory Care, students are required to:
1. Complete a minimum of 120 units with a minimum grade of "C" in all courses which include:
1. 39 units of CSU-GE transferable units or IGETC with lower division electives
2. 40 units are credited to the A.S. Respiratory Care degree courses
3. 32 units of upper division respiratory care courses
4. 9 units of upper division non-respiratory upper division course work
