The Facilities Automation certificate of achievement provides the essential skills and workforce preparation needed for careers related to automated building controls, such as building automation specialist, facilities manager, operating engineer, and facilities technician. Students will gain skills in automation, robotics, computer networking, information technology, and planning, installing and maintaining mechanical and plumbing systems.
Suggested sequence of courses. Depending on students’ availability and needs, more classes can be taken per semester to finish in two semesters, instead of three semesters.
