Integrated/holistic health is a unique and multidisciplined field that considers the importance of the inter-relationship between the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of human complexity as an integrated and inseparable whole. We will navigate various healing traditions and medical systems, mind body medicine, herbal and plant medicines, whole foods and many other therapies under the Integrative/holistic health umbrella. We will address their history, diverse philosophical and practical principles in both traditional healing and contemporary medicine, associated research and historical challenges. This is a comprehensive approach to health rooted in the basic tenets of various healing traditions that span millenniums. Ultimately, we are bridging the educational gap related to these treatment options providing foundational knowledge,
preparation, critical thinking, diverse experiences and approaches as well as promoting self-healing while nurturing and empowering individuality, expanding perspectives, compassion, empathy, tolerance, and genuine curiosity within culturally diverse populations.

Differentiate traditional healing practices compared to the West and address base philosophies, challenges, current events culturally, environmentally, sustainability, and socioeconomically.
Analyze and create an individualized lifelong learning strategy through self-discovery for maintaining and promoting optimal health and wellness using a combination of integrative health practices.
